More Information on Arrangements for MPD Officer Sean Tuder

UPDATE:  The route for the funeral procession Friday has been released:

The funeral procession will immediately follow the service. From Dauphin Way Baptist Church the funeral procession will travel to Dauphin Street west to McGregor Avenue south to Azalea Road continuing south to Government Boulevard turning west onto Government Boulevard traveling to Three Notch Road ending at Mobile Memorial Gardens (6100 Three Notch Road).

Also, visitation time Friday before the service has been expanded; it will now start at 9am.

And the Mobile Police Department has established a Memorial Fund for the family of Officer Sean Tuder. CLICK HERE to donate.

The Governor has ordered flags be flown at half-staff through Sunday.


Monday, thousands lined the streets as the officer's body was escorted from Alabama Department of Forensic Sciences to Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home.  

Mobile Mourns Police Officer Shot in the Line of Duty

The Mobile Police Department lost another one of its own yesterday. 30 year old officer Sean Tuder was shot and killed while trying to arrest 19 year old Marco Perez.
