I AM SO READY FOR THIS!!!! Although Carnival has extended their "no cruising" mandate through September, we did get...SENSATIONAL...news yesterday! Carnival Cruise Lines has announced a different ship will soon sail out of the Port of Mobile! This morning, Mobile Mayor Sandy Stimpson tweeted Carnival Cruise Lines will be bringing the Carnival Sensation to Mobile and people are EXCITED!
“This is the great news for our City and a huge shot in the arm for our tourism industry. We had a great team, a great strategy and we never stopped working to make this happen. Mobile believes in Carnival, and today’s announcement is validation that Carnival believes in Mobile,” Mayor Stimpson said in a statement regarding the news.
The Sensation, currently in Miami, will head to Mobile and take up itineraries that were previously booked on the Carnival Fantasy and Carnival Fascination.
I, for one, cannot wait for a little escape on this beauty! For me, it's a long awaited escape in the making. Some people love getting hammered on cruise ships and dancing around, I love seeing new places and getting out of my natural habitat. This looks like its going to be he perfect way to do it!
