MUSIC NOTES

Attention Pistol Annie fans!
Miranda Lambert, Ashley Monroe and Angaleena Presley are giving fans an early listen to the album with an exclusive full album stream on Amazon.com. Starting today, fans can listen to all 12 songs in their entirety on http://www.amazon.com/gp/feature.html?ie=UTF8&docId=1001176851.
"We are so ready for this album to be out and hear what y'all think about the music," said Miranda. "And when it's in stores, I'll be in there moving our record to the front of the shelf and puttin' everyone else's album behind ours," laughed Anagaleena. "And she will," added Ashley
On Tuesday, May 7, Pistol Annies will celebrate the release of Annie Up on the "TODAY Show" and that night, perform on the "Late Show With David Letterman," where they will sing their single, "Hush Hush." On Wednesday, May 8, the trio returns to “The View” where they will debut the sweet ballad and album's closing track "I Hope You're The End of My Story," a song that admittedly makes each sassy Annie cry.
While it was the three women who wrote every song on the album, a fourth Annie was there for all of it and is the inspiration behind the song, "Don't Talk About It Tina." "That would be 'Mother Bra'," says Angaleena. " I have a huge, industrial strength, four hook, thirty-six Double D, hideous 'Mother Bra' that has been on every one of our adventures," explains Angaleena. "We found her floating in the pool in Mexico, at the concierge desk at the hotel in Las Vegas, she has a mind of her own," said Ashley. "My friend Tina was on the road with us one weekend and Mother Bra was laying out on the stove and Tina said 'Oh my gosh whose bra is this,'" said Miranda." And I was laying in my bed and yelled, "Don't talk about it Tina, just look away," said Angaleena. "And so we started writing and the next thing you know we have a song about my friend Tina and 'Mother Bra," laughed Miranda.
The star of "iCarly" came to the Eastern Shore Center to say hello to fans and raise money for the kids of St. Jude!

Chesney Establishes Boston Fund:
With the assistance of WKLB/Boston, Kenny Chesney has established Spread The Love: A Fund For Boston through Boston Medical Centerto pay for prosthetics and post-acute care needed by Boston Marathon bombing victims. Launched with an undisclosed "sizable" donation from Chesney, the fund will also receive proceeds from sales of the song "Spread The Love" from his new album, as well as direct donations.
"Music can be healing," Chesney says. "When you’re at your lowest, it can inspire – the way these athletes, their friends, family and the city of Boston inspire me. I want to give back to the ones who need it, but also to heal all of us a little bit. So, spread the love."
"BMC cared for many of the patients most seriously injured in the Boston Marathon bombings, patients who have a long journey of recovery ahead," says Kate Walsh, BMC President/CEO. "Over time, the spotlight will fade, but their needs will go on. We thank Mr. Chesney for stepping forward to make sure these and all the Marathon patients have all the support they need over the long haul."
"We are extremely grateful to Kenny Chesney for spearheading a Boston-based fund that will meet real immediate and future needs: prosthetics and prosthetic therapy for victims," says WKLB PD Mike Brophey. "Boston Medical Center, the patients with prosthetic needs, and the City of Boston will quickly and directly benefit from the Spread The Love Fund."
The song can be purchased here.
