As the youngest member to hit the airwaves on the "95 KSJ Breakfast Club", I spent my first two years at KSJ pouring coffee and running errands for the staff & occasionally making an on-air appearance or two with Dan & Shelby. Hoping that someday I'd be a part of the number ONE morning show on the Gulfcoast. In 2012 all that pouring coffee paid off, with me joining the Breakfast Club. I fell in love with broadcasting when I was only 7 years old. I said the Pledge of Allegiance with Dan & Shelby (somewhere that audio is still hanging around one of our studios). At 17, I attended a high school leaders community event, that our very own Program Director, Bill Black, was attending. I announced to Bill that I was going to work for him and 95KSJ someday... the rest is history. I'm now 20 and I firmly believe I have the best job EVER, and it keeps getting better everyday. You can catch me stirring up trouble on the 95KSJ Breakfast Club with Dan & Shelby throughout the week!
From time to time I get to side-line report from Jags football games!

A little over a month ago, I had a simple idea that I wanted to get people to feel good about themselves. What's the best way to feel good? To go out and do some good. So that simple idea turned into Project25. A random acts of kindness challenge. It takes the human brain around 25 times of doing something for it to become a habit. What if that habit was putting a smile on someone else's face? Join me & take the challenge to complete 25 random acts of kindness!
Justin Timberlake is up for numerous AMA awards this week, but there is one award he says he hasn't won yet! An award for a country album! JT exclusively tells BILLBOARD that those dreams, “They’re still alive. I just did an interview earlier today and I said, ‘I’m America, that’s what I am –- in all senses of the word.' I grew up outside of Memphis, Tennessee, and I listened to country music, R&B music, classic rock…everything.” Interesting!

Country queen, Loretta Lynn, has been awarded the highest civilian honor in the USA. The iconic country singer was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom at a packed ceremony in the East Room of the White House. The honor is given each year to a select few individuals “who have made especially meritorious contributions to the security or national interests of the United States, to world peace, or to cultural or other significant public or private endeavors.”
A White House press release describes Lynn as “one of the first successful female country music vocalists in the early 1960s, courageously breaking barriers in an industry long dominated by men.”
Lynn’s fellow honorees this year include President Bill Clinton, Oprah Winfrey, feminist Gloria Steinem and University of North Carolina head basketball coach Dean Smith.
All hail the queen!

Demi Lovato sure did it this time!
Carrie Underwood's fans were not happy about the comment Demi made to a contestant on 'X Factor'.
On Wednesday night, Rachel Potter sang the rock song "Alone" when Demi voiced her opinion.
Potter explained she chose this song because Carrie sang it before. Demi was, hopefully, trying to cheer her on by telling her, "No, you would do better than Carrie Underwood!"
The Care Bears (Carrie's die hard fans) went crazy!
Talk about defending someone they adore and love, and want to protect! The Care Bears were not going to let this one slide.
"Hey Demi, Carrie Underwood would wipe the floor with every person on this show. Check yourself before you wreck yourself. #XFactor," one of Carrie's fans tweeted.
Another fan dissed the show's low ratings. Hit 'em where it hurts the most!
I bet Demi Lovato will think twice before she makes another comment about another artist again.
What do you think? Was Demi really dissing Carrie Underwood? I mean, you can't really blame her fans for defending their queen of country. Right?
