Hey it's Shelby and I am SUPER excited (and a little nervous!) about our upcoming adventure. Colton is the Team Captain of The new KSJ Paranormal team "KSJ Redneck Amateur Paranormal Society" or "KRAPS," (kinda like SciFi's TAPS). And we are all heading to the Pensacola Lighthouse this Friday night. It's one of the most haunted lighthouses in America. Read about the killings that happened there years ago:

Also here's when it was featured on the SyFy channel:

I have chill bumps! I told my hubby "The Fireman" who will be going with us that I was thinking of backing out and he said NO WAY. My sister will also be joning us. She and her friends have already done a little ghost hunting so they will be bringing some equipment! Plus we will also have help from the Lighthouse Paranormal Crew. But will they supply these??? :)

Here's the link to the Pensacola Lighthouse, which really is beautiful. (I am not letting it's beauty fool me! Still scared!) :) Shelby

Here are a few tips from our friends at Beyond Sight Paranormal Studies:

Dear Shelby,

I think I am more excited for you than you are!
Here are some quick tips!

Paranormal Investigation Advice

• Take lots of pictures Shelby!!! Even if you don’t see, hear or have a subject just snap pictures. You never know what will turn up in them!
• Have everyone speak in their normal tone of voice. If anyone whispers you’ll mistake it for something else during your review.
• Ask questions as you would of any person alive. Use intelligent topics and pause for at least ten seconds in silence after the question. This leaves room for answers.
• Don’t be afraid of anything! In fact, tell “them” that if they make their presence known that it won’t frighten you. Let them know it will excite you but not frighten you. In all of the places I have been (including the Albert P. Brewer Center) I have NEVER met anything evil. EVER!
• Know where everyone is. Stay in a group. This way you won’t need to discount sounds from other places in the lighthouse.
• Provoking is an amateur trick!!! If these are the essences of those who once lived then they will respond in kind. If someone approaches me with profanity and insults I am not sharing anything with them I assure you. They won’t either.

These are the important things if you really want to try and get good results. If I come up with anything else I’ll scribble it down.
Have fun and let me know how it went!!!!!
