I'm originally from Panama City, Florida... but my family moved to Mobile when I was seven. I graduated from Murphy High School in 1983 and ended up working and going to college in Oklahoma, Texas and again in Panama City... then I finally made it back to Mobile in 1990. I'm a father of five wonderful children... Alana (23), Jenna (19), David (18), William (15), and Kayleigh (13). Alana lives in New Hampshire with her sons Mikey and twins Eddie and Chris... yes, I'm a grampa, and I love it!
I came to work at KSJ in October of 1999. I really enjoy what I'm doing... and I plan on staying here as long as I can!

I Think This Sums It Up Nicely
After EADS won the tanker contract in 2008 - and Boeing whined about the bidding process being "unfair", getting the appeal (and eventually the contract), Foosackly's put these billboards up all over town. I had to pull over and take this picture (off I-65, near Old Shell):
I hope the billboards will go up again, and I hope EADS will appeal. But I doubt either will happen.

Slippin' And Slidin' In Seattle
Seattle is a 2,700 mile drive from Mobile, but we're actually not that different, at least when it comes to weather: we both get a LOT of rain, and not much snow.
So just in case you wondered if we were the only ones who have NO clue how to drive on the rare occasion that it DOES snow, wonder no more. And look out for that bus!
